This starter oregon crockery is nary muss, nary fuss, large flavors, with the savory crunch of smoked almonds and saltiness of capers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 2 ounces mixed-variety tiny tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoonful maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoonful caller citrus juice
  • 1/2 spoon blistery Spanish smoked paprika
  • 1 tiny shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tiny capers, rinsed, drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cupful smoked almonds, coarsely chopped
  • Small fistful flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly crushed achromatic pepper
