This salty-sweet martini marries preserved lemon, a pickled, salty-tart fermented citrus often utilized successful Moroccan cuisine, with a citrus-forward gin (try Tanqueray 10, Citadelle’s Jardin D’Été oregon Malfy Con Limone). Note that the vermouth is blanc, not the modular dry, which makes for a somewhat sweeter enactment that balances retired the saltiness of the preserved lemon. Ingredients

  • 1 bladed portion preserved lemon, for garnish
  • Ice
  • Dash of orangish bitters
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce bianco oregon blanc vermouth (such arsenic Dolin)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons preserved citrus brine, to taste
  • 1 portion caller citrus peel
