  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1/2 spoon good salt, oregon to taste

  • 1/2 spoon all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons rootlike oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated oregon minced
  • 1/4 cupful water, oregon much arsenic necessary
  • 1 tablespoonful granulated sugar
  • 1 tiny achromatic oregon yellowish bulb (about 4 ounces), chopped
  • 1/2 to 1 caller reddish chile pepper, thinly sliced
  • Freshly crushed achromatic pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 4 sprigs to 5 sprigs cilantro, for garnish, optional
  • Cooked rice, for serving (optional)
