The champion ricotta for this dessert is the caller whole-milk benignant disposable astatine galore Italian specialty markets, but supermarket brands (either whole-milk oregon part-skim) are an acceptable substitute.

The caller plum condiment is gorgeous and tasty.

  • 1/4 cupful confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoonful to 2 tablespoons dense cream, oregon arsenic needed
  • 1/2 spoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 spoon crushed cinnamon, oregon to taste
  • 1/4 spoon grated orangish zest (optional)

For the caller plum sauce

  • 1 1/2 pounds reddish oregon purple plums, pitted chopped into chunks
  • 1/4 cupful sugar, oregon to taste
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice, oregon to taste
  • 3 ample peaches, pitted and sliced (peeled if desired)
