This spicy, sauce-free crockery originated with Liang Nian Xiu, a husbandman who lives successful Guangxi state successful China. She uses chopped pork belly, but bacon adds a akin richness.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoonful rootlike oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped uncooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger root
  • 1 tablespoonful minced garlic
  • 1 Thai chili pepper, minced
  • 1/2 spoon salt
  • 1 lb snowfall peas, strings removed
  • 1 mean tomato, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 spoon sugar
