Ingredients

  • 1 lb oversea scallops, patted dry, past chopped into 1/4-inch slices (see NOTE)
  • 1/2 cupful finely chopped reddish onion
  • 1 to 2 serrano chile peppers, stemmed, seeded and finely chopped
  • 3 strips lime peel (no pith)
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly crushed achromatic pepper
  • 2/3 cupful caller lime juice
  • 1 cupful caller blueberries
  • 1/4 cupful chopped cilantro (optional)
