An casual broadside dish, this would spell good with a hearty roast beef oregon lamb.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoonful kosher salt, positive much arsenic needed
  • 10 abdominous leeks, achromatic parts only, chopped crosswise into 2-inch pieces and rinsed thoroughly
  • 3/4 cupful low-sodium rootlike broth
  • 3/4 cupful adust achromatic wine
  • 1/4 cupful olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons caller citrus juice
  • 6 full achromatic peppercorns
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 sprig flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/4 spoon dried chervil (optional; whitethorn substitute dried parsley)
  • 1/4 spoon dried tarragon
